KG Thienemann

KG THIENEMANN

KG Thienemann is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Lynchburg, Virginia. He holds a degree in film from Loyola of the South (New Orleans). His work follows in the style of photographic masters P. H. Emerson, André Kertész and Robert Frank. The earliest work available is from 1969.

Twice named the National Photo Apprentice for the Spoleto Arts Festival (Charleston, South Carolina), Thienemann works in both black and white and color in 35mm format, both film and digital. His work features images from the United States, Europe and Asia.

He is represented by Artifacts Gallery of Lynchburg, Virginia. His work is featured in Central Virginia Home Magazine and Roanoke Valley Home Magazine.
